PNI transactions by quarter

PNI Digital Media, Vancouver, B.C., has reported it handled 10 percent more transactions in its fiscal second quarter than it did during the same time period a year ago. PNI’s Digital Media Platform lets consumers order photo prints and personalized photo gifts, including photobooks, among other things, online from a retailer’s photo centre, in store from a PNI-powered kiosk, or right from their desktop using PNI software.

So people made more prints or photo gifts at such places as Costco or Wal-Mart, for example, using the store’s ordering systems.

In total, says the company, it handled 3.6 million orders over its platform.
