Fujifilm says it has responded to numerous requests for a special edition of its X100 premium compact digital camera by introducing a special, limited edition version with a new black body – bundled with a genuine leather case, lens hood, adapter ring, and protective filter.
Each package comes with a numbered card for authenticity.
Only 10,000 units of the X100 Black Premium Edition will be released worldwide.
There is no change in the camera’s specs. It features a Fujinon 23 mm (equivalent: 35 mm) f/2 lens and 12-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor.
It has what Fuji claims is the world’s first “hybrid viewfinder” that switches between the optical viewfinder (OVF) and electronic viewfinder (EVF).
The Fujifilm X100 Black Premium Edition will be available in March at a suggested retail price of $1,699.99.
