These include 32 channels (16 standard and 16 Quad-Zone Triggering), allowing photographers to activate or deactivate remote flash units or cameras wirelessly in four separately controllable zones.
The new model is a selectable transmitter, receiver or transceiver radio incorporated into a new
contoured housing. It offers familiar features such as Auto-Sensing Transceiver Mode and Relay Mode, an amber backlit LCD screen, clean layout, rubberized buttons.
Channels, Quad-Zones, radio mode and even the battery status are all displayed.
The PocketWizard Plus III is compatibile with the MultiMAX as well as all PocketWizard radios.
Other features: activate/deactivate up to four selectable zones of remote flash or cameras; auto-sensing transceiver; two-stage remote camera triggering; trigger remote cameras and flash units simultaneously; trigger camera at 14.5 fps.
The Canadian distributor, DayMen, says the PocketWizard Plus III Transceiver has an SRP of $169.
