The device acts as its own WiFi hotspot, and works with both iOS and Android operating systems.
A free app prints pictures with just a couple of taps on your device. There are also editing functions and templates to let you get creative with smartphone images and Instax mini film. The printer can also print “real time” information on the film prints, including date and time, location and weather conditions.
The SP-1 is compact and uses Instax mini film to produces sharp, clear images with vivid colour and natural skin tones in a print that is 2 x 3-inches.
The new Instax Share Printer will be available in April for $199.95.
