Olympus is developing two new M.Zuiko lenses for its PRO series line-up, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 7-14 mm f/2.8 PRO (14-28 mm equivalent) and ED 300 mm f/4 PRO (600 mm equivalent).
Both are scheduled to launch in 2015.
The 7-14 mm lens is the first-ever wide-angle zoom lens in the M.Zuiko PRO series. It maintains a dustproof and splashproof design to compliment the OM-D E-M1 and E-M5.
Olympus says the lens features sharpness to the edges of the image and excellent performance for professional use.
The 300 mm lens is the first single-focal-length super telephoto lens in the series. Like other lenses in the PRO series, this new lens will deliver superb performance, complimented by compact, dustproof and splashproof construction, says the company.
The previously announced M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40 mm f/2.8 PRO, and ED 40-150 mm f/2.8 PRO are expected to reach store shelves in the second half of 2014, according to Olympus.
