If you’ve got an extra $50,000 or so kicking around and you want the highest resolution sensor you can possibly get . . . or if you’re just into one-upping your Nikon, Canon or Sony wielding friends, price no object, have we got something for you. It’s the new Phase One XF 100MP camera.
Phase One, working with Sony, created a new 100MP CMOS full-frame sensor for the Phase One XF which it intro’d last July.
Needless to say, this is a pro system, using Schneider Kreuznach leaf shutter lenses, delivering true 16-bit colour, 15 f-stops of dynamic range, live view capturing with HDMI output, ISO flexibility from 50 to 12800, and exposure times of up to 60 minutes.
