Hammacher Schlemmer is offering what it says is the world’s smallest camera – a fully functional digital camera no larger than a fingertip – for US$99.95.
The camera measures slightly more than an inch in all dimensions and weighs only half an ounce.
The camera offers autofocus and has a 2-megapixel image sensor capturing photographs at 1600 x 1200 resolution and AVI video at 30 frames-per-second with 640 x 480 resolution.
Pictures and video are saved onto an included 2 GB micro SD card; the camera also can be connected to a computer for displaying images and video.
The camera’s rechargeable battery provides up to 30 minutes of operation from a one-hour charge via the included USB cable.
A great gift for the spy in the family.
